If you're visiting Victoria Falls, Palm River Hotel is definitely a place you should visit. Located on the banks of the Zambezi River and just a few minutes from Victoria Falls, this beautiful hotel is the perfect place to relax while still being close to all the highlights. The peaceful surroundings, luxury rooms, and warm hospitality made this one of our favourite stays in Zimbabwe.

The highlight of our stay: Zambezi River Deck

Without a doubt, our favourite experience was the Zambezi River Deck. The setting alone is already magical, but the evening becomes even more special thanks to the live entertainment. During dinner, local African singers and dancers perform traditional songs and dances, creating an incredible atmosphere. The barbecue-style dinner was delicious, and eating under the stars while listening to African music is something we'll never forget. For me, my favorite was their fresh crocodile. It was my first time trying it in Africa, and I absolutely loved it!

Great food and friendly service

We also really enjoyed the food throughout our stay. Breakfast offered plenty of fresh options, and every meal was delicious. What made our stay even better was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They truly made us feel at home.

The perfect base for Victoria Falls

Palm River Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Victoria Falls. It's close to all the main attractions but still feels peaceful and surrounded by nature. One of the things we loved most was that wildlife is never far away. Around the hotel, you can regularly spot animals such as warthogs, monkeys, and so much more making your stay feel even more connected to nature.
